New Zealand savers could see a Cyprus-style tax on their bank accounts, the Green Party is warning, accusing the Government of planning similar solutions for the country.
Finance Minister Bill English is a supporter of open bank resolution (OBR), the policy currently being implemented in debt-stricken Cyprus, Green Party co-leader Russel Norman said.
