Gold futures advance after third weekly win

The futures got a small boost from a falling U.S. dollar, with the ICE dollar index DXY -0.08%  slipping to 81.549 from late Friday’s 81.665. A weaker U.S. unit can help dollar-denominated gold prices, by making them cheaper for holders of other currencies
