The Metalor 1 gram gold minted bar contains 1 gram of 999.9 fine gold and bears the official Metalor refiner's mark together with its weight, gold purity and a unique serial number. It is produced by Metalor Technologies, one of Switzerland's leading precious metals refiners and manufacturers.

Founded in 1852 and headquartered in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, Metalor Technologies SA is an accredited refiner on the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Good Delivery List for gold and silver and also serves as an LBMA Good Delivery Referee. LBMA Good Delivery Referees are selected for their high standards of assaying and technical expertise and play an important role in assessing refiners and maintaining the technical standards of the LBMA Good Delivery system.

Metalor has a long history in the precious metals industry and is involved in the refining, manufacturing and trading of gold, silver and platinum group metals for investment and industrial applications. In 1918, the company came under the ownership of Swiss Bank Corporation and was later renamed Métaux Précieux SA in 1936, before becoming independent in 1998.
