Argor-Heraeus Gold Cast Bar - 50 grams

The Argor-Heraeus 50 gram gold cast bar contains 50 grams of 999.9 fine gold and bears the official Argor-Heraeus refiner's mark, together with its weight, gold purity and a unique serial number. Produced in Switzerland and certified by Argor-Heraeus's sworn assayer, each bar reflects the company's longstanding commitment to quality, precision and reliability.

Unlike minted bars, cast gold bars are traditionally produced by pouring molten gold into moulds, giving each bar a distinctive appearance with slightly rounded edges and natural surface variations characteristic of the casting process. Valued for their simplicity and substantial feel, cast gold bars remain a popular choice among investors seeking to preserve wealth through physical traditional forms of precious metals ownership.

Founded in Switzerland in 1951 as Argor SA and currently based in Mendrisio, Ticino, Argor-Heraeus has established itself as one of the world's leading precious metals refiners. The company is an accredited refiner on the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) Good Delivery List for gold and silver and also serves as an LBMA Good Delivery Referee.

In 1973, Swiss banking group UBS acquired Argor. Meanwhile, German precious metals group Heraeus established its first precious metals sales office in Hong Kong in 1974, laying the foundation for its subsequent expansion across Asia. In 1986, UBS partnered with Heraeus to establish Argor-Heraeus SA. Heraeus subsequently acquired full ownership of Argor-Heraeus in 2017, integrating the Swiss refiner into Heraeus Precious Metals and further strengthening the group's international presence, including its established operations in key Asian precious metals markets such as Hong Kong and Singapore.

Argor-Heraeus produces an extensive range of cast and minted bars in gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Combining advanced refining technology, traditional casting techniques and meticulous quality control, each bar reflects the company's commitment to quality and precision. Its distinctive Argor-Heraeus emblem has become a recognised symbol of Swiss refining expertise and German industrial and technological excellence, while its gold bars are widely recognised and traded in international bullion markets.

Argor-Heraeus gold cast bars are available in a variety of weights, including 50 grams, 100 grams, 250 grams, 500 grams, 1 kg and 400 oz London Good Delivery (LGD) bars, catering to both retail and institutional investors. This extensive selection provides investors in Singapore with flexible options for owning physical Investment Precious Metals (IPM).

*Due to the variety of designs and packaging issued by Argor-Heraeus over the years, customers may receive Argor-Heraeus gold bars with different designs and packaging depending on available stock.
