In 2010, the Degussa name was revived through the establishment of Degussa Sonne/Mond Goldhandel GmbH, a privately owned precious metals trading company. Today, Degussa Goldhandel is an established independent precious metals dealer in Europe, specialising in investment-grade gold, silver and other precious metals. The iconic Degussa sun and moon emblem has become a recognisable feature of its gold bullion products, reflecting the brand's historical origins. In 2025, Degussa introduced a redesigned range of minted gold bars, retaining its signature emblem while incorporating a contemporary appearance. The updated design features the Degussa logo alongside the bar's weight and purity, while the reverse displays a repeating geometric pattern based on the company's emblem, serving both decorative and security purposes.

Degussa gold minted bars are available in a variety of weights, including 0.5 grams, 1 gram, 2.5 grams, 5 grams, 10 grams, 1/2 oz, 20 grams, 1 oz, 50 grams and 100 grams.
