Enable Two-Factor Authentication For Your S.T.A.R. Account
Activate 2-Factor Authentication(2FA) to secure your Silver Bullion account beyond a username and password. You can receive a verification code either by SMS on your mobile device or via an authenticator app to be entered at our website as a second layer of security before your account can be accessed. Follow these steps to enable 2FA for your S.T.A.R. Storage account.
1) Login to your S.T.A.R. Storage account.
2) Go to your account's profile. Then click on the Security tab.
3) Click on 'Enable'. (If you do not see the Two-Factor Authentication section below at all, please call us at +65 6100 3040 or send a secure notification for assistance).
4) Decide if you want to receive a verification code by SMS OR via an authenticator app.
Receive code by SMS
You will need to verify your mobile number first in your account profile before you can receive the verification code by SMS. If your mobile number is not entered or a different number should be used, please call us at +65 6100 3040 or send a secure notification.
At the Profile tab, click on 'Verify' if your mobile number is correct. An SMS will be sent immediately to that mobile number along with a verification code.
Enter the code in the field below and click 'Verify' to complete the activation of 2FA on your account.
Receive code via an authenticator app
Click on 'Use Auth App'. Follow the instructions on the subsequent page to link your account's verification to the authenticator app of your choice (e.g. 1Password).
