Important - With effect from 1 October 2012, you will be able to buy or import bullion into Singapore, tax free, IF the bullion is listed as one of the bullion types that are eligible for tax exemption. In fact, most bullion types are eligible. Please ensure that the type of bullion you import is of the tax exempt type to avoid the 7% GST Tax.
